Rules For Boarding/Daycare

​

Evaluation:

We require all new dogs to complete a 3 hour evaluation before boarding with us so that we may be able to evaluate their temperament towards people and dogs. The evaluation is a $32 fee and your dog may stay for up to 5 hours. 

​Business Hours and Holiday Hours:

Drop Off For Overnight Boarding: Mon - Fridays: 8:00 AM- 6:45 PM & Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:4PM

Pick Up From Overnight Boarding Stay: Mon - Fridays: 9:00 AM - 6:45 PM & Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:45PM

Daycare ONLY: Mon - Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:45 PM & Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:4PM

We close sharply Mon-Fri at 6:45 PM and sharply on Sat-Sun at 5:45 PM. WE CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS AND YOUR DOG WILL BE BOARDED OVERNIGHT DUE TO SAFETY AND LABOR LAW REASONS. You will be charged an extra night if you are unable to pick up before we close.

Holiday Hours:

NO PICK UP OR DROP OFFs ON THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS:

New Year's Day, Easter Day, 4TH of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

​

We Close Early For Drop Off And Pick Up at 3 PM On:

New Year's Eve (December 31st) , July 3rd, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve (December 24th)

​

​Boarding:

- For any stays 2 nights or more, only a $27 bathing fee will be added to your dog's stay and cannot be waived, to ensure your pup goes home fresh and clean from its vacation at The Doggy Den.

-All photos of the pups are uploaded to our Instagram account. Any additional requests for photos will be a $25 fee per day/set of photos.​

-If you drop off your pup on a day later than when you originally booked you will still be required to pay for the previous days you originally booked. If you overstay your original reservation on the holidays listed above, without prior approval, a $100 fee per night per dog will be added because we plan our capacity based upon reservations.

-If you book for daycare, but your pup ends up staying the night, you are required to pay the overnight fee in addition to the daycare fee.​

-All of the following Holidays require a minimum 2 night stay for a kennel and 3 night stay for a Suite: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

-We do not take new clients for daycare during the week of major Holidays, which are: 

4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Please contact us to book daycare during holiday peak seasons, if you are a new client.

Vaccinations:

-Vaccinations must be current in order to attend our facility. We require proof of Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella. BORDETELLA IS REQUIRED EVERY 6 MONTHSK-9 Influenza is highly recommended, but not required.

-Flea and Tick treatment is required every 4 weeks. If the due date falls within your dog's stay, please bring a pill so we can administer it to your dog during their stay.

Food/Belongings:

-Please bring all required medication, in its original bottle or in a package with the proper instructions.

-Please bring just enough for your pup’s stay.

-Do not put medication in the dogs food.

-We do not take non-disposable bags for food or tubs for food, bedding, toys, etc.  Please make sure everything is disposable.

-No food bags or food tubs will be returned.

-No extra food is given back at the end of your dog's stay. Even if you packed extra food, it will not be returned. 

-If your dog does not have enough food for its stay, we charge $7 for each additional meal.

Damages to Kennel Property:

-You are held liable for any damages your dog may do during its stay. Damage fee starts at $52 and go up depending on the cost of repair.

 

​Non-Family Members Are Not Allowed To Visit Dogs Boarding Here:

-For the safety of your dog, we do not allow non-family members to visit while your dog is boarded here. We cannot ensure the safety of your dog once the dog is removed from our building.

​

Deposits and Cancellations:

-We take a 2 night (1 night if only staying 1 night) non-refundable deposit upon booking your dog's stay since we only take a limited amount of dogs each night and we turn other clients away based upon your reservation.

 

-If you email and cancel your reservation at least 72 hours before your scheduled stay, you will receive the amount already paid in credit towards a future overnight stay, provided your reservation does not include: April 1st-April 15th, May 26th-May 31st, June 14th-July 14th, September 1st-September 6th, November 15th-November 27th, and December 15th-January 5th. 

 

- Deposits will not carry-over more than once to a future reservation.

​

 -If at least 72 hours written notice of cancellation is NOT given, then no credit will be issued. No refunds or credits will be provided for dogs picked up early.

 

-Any reservations made for the following dates are completely NON-REFUNDABLE, we take a FULL STAY DEPOSIT and no credits will be issued if cancelled or if your dog is picked up early on these dates: April 1st-April 15th, May 26th-May 31st, June 14th-July 14th, September 1st-September 6th, November 15th-November 27th, December 15th-January 5th. ​

-If you have a boarding package and cancel over a holiday, 2 nights will automatically be removed from your package. 

​

-If you are paying your deposit by Zelle, you have 24 hours to send the payment or your card on file will be charged for the 2 night non-refundable deposit amount.
